Awarded as the third best cheese in the world "" Super Gold at the World Cheese Awards 2019 "", from a jury of gastronomic experts at the 32nd edition of the World Cheese Awards, held in Bergamo (Italy).

Recommendations for optimal consumption:

To cut the Torta del Casar you have to open it with a knife at the top, as if we were removing a cover. After, we must stir the cream so that the product is oxygenated before consuming it. It is important to keep it in a dry and cold place, between 4º and 10º C, until it is time to eat it.

When opened, it is preferable to consume it within 20 days of purchase, because although its flavor may be enhanced, that irresistible creamy texture will be lost.

To fully appreciate its qualities, it is advisable to bring it to a temperature of approximately 21º C. The best thing, to ensure maximum flavour, is to take it out of the refrigerator one day before it is consumed.
